I didn’t have major pain issues, but wanted to be proactive and make sure everything was functioning properly. The assessment was detailed and informative, and I learned a lot about my feet and walking mechanics. The doctor was very knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain everything. The whole experience felt comfortable and professional. I’d definitely recommend this clinic to anyone who values preventative care and expert advice.Posted on ChuckTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After years of suffering with plantar fasciitis and other problems due to the ravages of rheumatoid arthritis in my feet, and resulting joint damage, I finally had a friend refer me to a clinic in Edmonton that is nothing short of a godsend for me. 3D printed customs orthotics are custom-made for MY foot and no one else’s. They use a large 3D printer to manufacture the ultimate bespoke orthotic. While I was sceptical at first, I found they work better than anything else I have tried throughout my years of suffering with walking pain, standing pain, and even sitting pain. I have tried everything: physio-therapy, massage, medical consultation for foot and ankle surgery, custom-made orthotics fabricated by podiatrists and chiropractors, monthly cortisone injections at pain clinics, and every kind of commercial mass-produced orthotic imaginable, purchased from brick-and-mortar shoe stores to Amazon! I resigned myself to the reality that I was doomed to using my handicapped placard the doctor authorised for me for the rest of my life, and parking in handicapped spaces because I was unable to walk more than 50 feet (on a good day). Then a friend with similar foot problems as I have told me about 3D Printed Custom Orthotics. That clinic had detailed scanning equipment to scan every detail on my deformed, flat, gnarly feet. Every crooked toe, every twisted ankle, and yes, they confirmed what the orthopaedic surgeons, podiatrists and chiropractors told me about my feet. But UNLIKE those other health care providers, they assessed me, extensively scanned my feet, and produced an effective solution — a pair of custom orthotics in less than two days that were unlike anything I had ever seen before. The orthotics had bumps in weird places to straighten out each toe, they had weird dips and built-up supports in places under my foot that I had never observed in any other orthotic — either custom made or mass-produced. I thought they were going to be bumpy and uncomfortable when I inserted them into my shoes, but they were BEAUTIFUL! The orthotic was bumpy because my feet and toes were so twisted and deformed, but when I walked on them, every bump and dip had a purpose to straighten out my feet and give me support where I needed it the most. It was like walking on air, and felt totally comfortable and supported. I can walk further (even at Costco, which was always a deal-breaker for me), I can stand for longer periods, and I don’t despair anymore if I can’t find handicapped parking near the entrance of buildings. My hip and back pain has greatly improved, and the staff at the orthotics clinic are professional, and second to none. They were attentive, and gave me their time to find the right solution for my problem feet. I wish I discovered this new technology years ago, but I’m told it didn’t exist when I first started going to doctors, podiatrists and chiropractors. Edmonton now has a valuable resource for anyone suffering from the type of pain I’ve experienced for years. I can’t recommend 3D Printed Custom Orthotics enough!
